Kasper Heintz tildelt 180 timer ved Very Large Telescope til at studere korte radioglimt
I et usædvanligt stort program får postdoc og DAWN-affilierede Kasper Heintz nu mulighed for at studere værtsgalakser til de såkaldte fast radio bursts — eller på dansk “korte radioglimt” — intense radiobølge-pulser af millisekunds-varighed, som astronomerne endnu ikke har en forklaring på.

In an exceptionally large program, postdoc and DAWN affiliate Kasper Heintz will now have the opportunity to study the host galaxies of the so-called “fast radio bursts” — intense millisecond pulses of radio waves that are yet unexplained.
